I'd give 0 stars, but I also blame myself for ordering the CROQUE MADAME (Sliced ham, melted Dubliner cheese, butternut squash béchamel, and mustard on Bread Bike country sourdough, capped with a sunny egg). Perhaps the CROQUE MADAME is good in other parts of the world. It ain't good here. I didn't see a picture of this item on their website. Maybe I missed it! The ham, folks!!! Ugh! The ham was just like the Farmer John Cooked Ham slices you'd put in sandwiches as a kid! I haven't had that kind of ham since I was 10 years old! And man they went in hard with the mustard. Nothing went together, and yes, it's also my fault for ordering it! I couldn't eat it, folks! I've come here at few times. The first time I liked it, but each time after I've been more and more unimpressed to the point that I'm now breaking up with this place. Maybe they should just stick to burritos and waffles (which I already know how to make - Thanks YouTube). Get really good at that first, and then venture into other dishes. I don't mean to be rude, but c'mon, SLO has a reputation for not having the best food (just look at the list of restaurants that have closed permanently in the past couple of years). Let's try to change that narrative.
